I read diaries to try to understand, I wade through zombies and worse, and I try to make the best out of of a grim situation indeed. The style is a steampunk, gritty atmosphere that feels adult. The developer has managed to create something deep and complex, yet with a welcoming surface to lure you into the wonders of theorycrafting. For example, a Nightblade/Soldier becomes a Blademaster. It aims for longevity both in terms of content updates and build and skill system depth, not the least from the innovative dual-mastery system reminding me of D&D of years past, giving rise to no less than 15 (!) different classes.
